Tsomgo Lake

I visited Tsomgo Lake today. It’s situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft and considered sacred by the local people. It look 3 hours to get there and 3 hours back…there were landslides on route…was glad to get back in one piece!

  4. Hi..Thanks for writing about Tsomgo Lake. Apart from it, the Himalayan Zoological Park, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Khangchendzonga Biosphere Reserve are further wonderful Gangtok places to visit. Also, get to know about various hotels in Gangtok.
